A person who is extremely indulgent, indulges in sex, who is engrossed in the pleasures of the world, is like a dead person. Whose desires of the mind never end and the creature, who lives only by being subject to his desires, is like the dead. He does not consume spirituality, is always absorbed in lust.
The person who walks in reverse from the whole world, who finds negativity behind everything in the world, goes against the rules, traditions and folk behavior, he is called Vam Margi. People who do such work are considered dead.
Even a very miserly person is dead. The person who is reluctant to participate in any welfare work financially, in doing religious work, avoids donating, such a person is also like a dead person.
Poverty is the biggest curse. A person who is devoid of wealth, self-confidence, respect and courage, he is also dead. The very poor are also dead. The poor man should not scold, because he is already dead. They should be helped by considering them as poor-Narayan.
A very foolish person is also dead. One who does not have intelligence, who cannot decide himself, that is, to understand everything or is dependent on someone else to decide, such a person is also like a dead person while alive. He does not understand spirituality.
The person who has got a bad reputation in the world is also dead. The person who does not get respect in family, society, city-nation, any unit, that person is also like a dead person.
The person who is constantly sick is also dead. In the absence of a healthy body, the mind remains disturbed. Negativity prevails. The person gets engaged in wishing for death. Despite being alive, the patient remains deprived of the joy of life.
A very old person is also dead, because he becomes dependent on other people. Both the body and the intellect become incapacitated. In such a situation, many times he himself and his family start wishing for his death, so that he can get rid of these sufferings.
A person who is in anger for 24 hours is also like a dead person. Such a person gets angry on every little thing. Due to anger, both the mind and the intellect are out of his control. A person who does not have control over his mind and intellect, he is not considered alive even though he is alive. This creature becomes angry after taking the sanskars of previous births. Anger kills many living beings and goes to hell.
The person who takes care of himself and his family with the money earned from sinful deeds, that person is also like a dead person. The people living with him also become like him. Always earn money by working hard and honestly. Earnings of sin go to sin and from the earnings of sin one attains a low gotra.
Such a person who lives solely for self-satisfaction and self-interest, having no feelings for any other creatures in the world, such a person is also like a dead person.
Those who think about food and drink, about their vehicles, materialistic life, and want to get things first. They don't care if anyone else gets the things or not, they are considered dead. Such people are useless to society and the nation. It is foolish to accept the body as one's own and to engage in it, because this body is perishable, it is about to perish.
A person who condemns for no reason is also dead. The one who sees only the shortcomings in others, the person who does not hesitate to criticize the good work of anyone. Such a person who sits near anyone, then only does evil, that person would also be dead. By blasphemy, there is a bond of low gotra.
A person who is opposed to God and thinks that there is no God, there is no supreme being; Whatever we do, it happens, we are running the world, who does not believe in the supreme, such a person is also considered dead.
One who is opposed to saints, scriptures and Puranas is also dead. Scriptures and saints act as a brake on malpractices in the society. If the vehicle does not have brakes, then accident is inivitable. Similarly, the society needs saints or sadhus, otherwise there will be no control over the injustice and order happening in the society.
